Holiday Gathering & Lighted Parade December 4, 2021

The Heart of Christmas

 The community of Momence welcomes everyone to enjoy our annual Holiday Gathering & Lighted Parade celebrating “The Heart of Christmas”.

Festivities will be held in downtown Momence, and begin at noon with a Holiday Market, Christmas Stories and Crafts, Face Painting, Pictures with Santa and much more!  At 5pm there will be a lighted parade ending with the lighting of the City Christmas Tree.  A full schedule of events is below:

4pm – 5pm Holiday Reception/Music at Jensens E Washington Street

5pm- 5:30pm Lighted Parade E Washington Street

5:30pm Lighting of City Christmas Tree City Hall


It has taken many community organizations and donors working to make this happen including the City of Momence, the Edward Chipman Library, the Momence Heritage Foundation, Off The Vine, Momence Pallet, Van Drunen Farms, Duffy’s Odds & Ends, ltd., 2 Flippin’ Chicks, Sensei Steve’s Karate, and Main Street Momence.

    I was wanting to know when the carriage ride will be at the holiday gathering and lights festival in momence the weekend of December 4

      The horse drawn wagon rides are from 12:30 to 3:30 that begins on Locust Street.
